Disruption is a popular term today. It is often used to describe the impact of technology on various areas like life, business, education and politics. But what does disruption look like at a personal level and how does it specifically impact our own learning and that of learning in our organizations?
Often viewed as a negative, disruption can be something that is unwelcome, causing harm or breaking our flow. However can disruption bring unexpected, welcomed and positive consequences? Can we and should we invite disruptive elements into our learning? When is it most appropriate? least appropriate?
