#GuildChat Preview: Performance Support in the Workplace

Picture1Join us for #GuildChat Friday September 19th at 11am PT / 2pm ET. The chat topic for this week is Performance Support.

Last week the Performance Support Symposium took place in Boston. This week we continue the Performance Support conversation, exploring what performance support looks like and how organizations are adding performance support to their organizational strategy.

Here are the questions currently scheduled to be posed during the chat:

  • How is performance support different than other workplace learning and performance programs?
  • What examples of performance support do you see embedded into daily life?
  • How are you using performance support to support work in your organizations?
  • Many organizations use training to address workplace performance issues in situations where PS could solve the problem faster, cheaper, and more effectively. Why?
  • What are the greatest challenges associated with adding PS to the mix? How can we overcome them?
  • How can we get more stakeholders to understand and support a PS strategy?
