#GuildChat for 04/14/17: Sharing YOUR Work

Our next #GuildChat takes place Friday, April 14th at 11AM PT/2PM ET. This week’s topic is on Sharing Your Own Projects.

One of our opening questions each week on #GuildChat is “What are you working on?” This gives each of us a chance to kick off the time with a brief “share and tell.” After that we get rolling on the topic. But what if this WAS the topic. An open mic night for project sharing if you will?

One of my personal favorite activities at Guild conferences is DemoFest, where in a very science fair-like environment people share their work. Some are still in beta and some have been fully implemented. Either way people gather and ask the who, what, where, when, and why of the effort.

In this week’s #GuildChat we look to the community to share something they are working on and through the chat’s 7-8 questions we’ll have a chance to dig deeper into sharing the reasons, approaches, roadblocks, and results of our work.

So join us this Friday where you can share current or past work or just join in to learn more about what your eLearning peers are up to!

Prospective question:

Q1. Briefly describe a project you are or have recently worked on?
Q2. What was the business problem you were trying to solve?
Q3. What kind of solution did you decide to go with? Why?
Q4. What other options did you consider or have presented?
Q5. What did you do throughout the project to keep it aligned with your specific audience’s needs?
Q6. What surprises/roadblocks came up during the project and how did you solve them?
Q7. What were the results once you launched the project?
Q8. Looking back what would you do differently in the project knowing what you know now?
