#GuildChat for 01/31/20: Training v. Support

Our next #GuildChat takes place Friday, January 31st at 11am PT / 2pm ET. This week’s chat is on Training v. Support

The responsibility of Learning Professionals is ultimately to help people do better in their jobs and to that end support the goals of the organization they work in or for. Historically solutions can come in the form of training, be it classroom or elearning, and/or performance support which also comes in a variety of forms. Determining which or both to use requires stakeholder understanding, contextual awareness, worker need and a host of other considerations.

We’ll also discuss different types of support solutions and mediums and how to help stakeholders understand your decision to choose one or the other to help the workforce.
