Three Ways to Follow #DevLearn from Home
This week the DevLearn Conference and Expo kicks off in Las Vegas, and it’s shaping up to be a great event. We’ve got over 3,000 attendees gathering to connect, share, and learn from one another.
If you weren’t able to join us in Las Vegas this year, you can still participate and learn from the conference. Here are a few ways to do just that.
Facebook Live
This year we’re experimenting with Facebook live at the conference. We will be broadcasting one session each day LIVE and in it’s entirety on our Facebook page. These recordings will also be available on our Facebook page for recorded viewing.
- 360-degree Interactive Video for Learning: From Concept to Case Study by Kate Nicholls (Wednesday 11/16 at 10:45am PT)
- Designing with Animation by Tim Slade (Thursday 11/17 at 10:45am PT)
- Talk to the Elephant: Design for Behavior Change by Julie Dirksen (Friday 11/18 at 8:30am PT)
The Twitter Backchannel
DevLearn always has one of the most vibrant backchannels of any conference in our industry. There are plenty of resources and conversations that share and expand upon what has been learned at the conference. The backchannel is a great way to connect with people following the DevLearn conversation all around the world.
To follow the feed, all you need to do is search on the conference hashtag – #DevLearn – on Twitter. If you want to participate in the backchannel conversation, remember to include the #DevLearn hashtag in your tweets.
I will also be curating the resources shared in the backchannel on my personal blog, found here.
Recorded Sessions
We record a number of sessions at DevLearn, and all Guild Conferences. All eLearning Guild members get access to these recording as part of their membership. If you are an eLearning Guild Member (and why wouldn’t you be… it’s FREE!) you can access conference session recordings via our website, elearningguild.com.
And if you subscribe to any of the eLearning Guild’s content packages, you also get access to the recordings of the keynote sessions from our conferences as well.
Join the DevLearn Experience
If you were unable to join us in person for DevLearn this year, you can still be a part of the experience online. We look forward to seeing you at the conference this and every year, be it face-to-face or online.
Thanks for being a part of our community.
