Introducing the Guild’s Learning Exchange—LX for Short—Because Together We’re Better

Today, at our Learning Solutions 2015 and ECOSYSTEM 2015 conferences in Orlando, we announced the Learning Exchange, a new platform for Guild members to access on-demand instructional content in the form of courses, discussions, and shared content from other members of the community. It’s a great new way to engage and learn with peers.

To access the Learning Exchange you must be logged into your eLearning Guild account; you can access the Learning Exchange from there. To log into your Guild account:

  1. Find the Login icon at the top of any page of the eLearning Guild website
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. Click on the word Exchange on the main guild menu; you will be automatically signed into the Learning Exchange

We have discussion streams, called Now@, on topics such as tools, mobile, freelancing, favorite resources, and design. We also have them for horror stories (we’ve all had them), course/content makeovers, and one of my favorites…

A couple of our early contributors had this to say about the Learning Exchange:

The Learning Exchange is the perfect place for us to share more than just our opinions. We can provide examples of our work and collaborate on opportunities for better practice. It is a virtual DemoFest!
Sarah Gilbert, President, meLearning Solutions

The Learning Exchange shows exciting potential to be the place where The eLearning Guild delivers on the promise of an online community where we can work together to improve our craft.
—Clark Quinn, Executive Director, Quinnovations, and Guild Master
