It’s an exciting time at the Guild.  We’ve just launched the DevLearn call for proposals (if your interested in speaking click here to submit) and the Learning Solutions Conference and Expo is happening later this month! With these two in mind, we thought we’d look closer at the changing nature and world of Professional Development. Gone are the days of event-based opportunities alone, today’s professional development comes at us continually and through many mediums. Knowing ourselves is as equally important as knowing where to find quality content to improve our performance.

Join us this week and learn from the community the approaches, the strategies, and the mediums for ongoing professional development people are using. We’ll explore how conferences fit in and how they are changing to meet the changing needs of L&D professionals.

Prospective questions:

Q1 How do you plan for professional development? What are your considerations? #GuildChat
Q2 With so many options out there, how do you narrow down what you want to focus your professional development on? #GuildChat
