#GuildChat for 10/30/15: Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone

Our next #GuildChat takes place Friday, October 30 at 11am PT / 2pm ET. Our topic for this week’s chat is Getting out of your comfort zone.

Being comfortable is something we typically strive for in life. Comfortable is stress free as it’s a less complicated, more predictable work and life.  In professional circles our comfort zone can be in staying solely in our area of expertise, moving into conversations and knowledge areas that are familiar to us and working on projects that we have been successful at in the past. But comfort and being in a comfort zone have risk as we can become complacent, we may lose the ability to take on new challenges, we get “soft”.2015-01-09_11-14-16

In this week’s GuildChat we look at comfort zones and how we can get out of them to improve our practice and our product.
