In this episode I chat with David Pogue, Host of NOVA ScienceNow and Founder & Columnist for Yahoo! Tech . David is one of our featured keynote speakers at the 2015 DevLearn Conference and Expo taking place September 30th through October 2nd in Las Vegas, where he’ll be exploring the The Unrecognizable New World of Tech and Culture and it’s impact on learning.

Here are a few highlights from our conversation:

[Learners] tend to adopt technology before their educators do.

The rise of the sharing economy … is putting us as people directly into other people’s lives.

Institutions are smart to lag, and to see which technologies have legs.

The purpose of these conferences is for educators to go to learn what the latest technologies are and how people are using them.

I consume a vast amount of information that’s new to me – that is learning.

To learn more about the keynote that David is giving at DevLearn, or any of the other sessions taking place at DevLearn this September, please visit the DevLearn Conference and Expo website.

If you have a speaker or topic that you would like to see featured in a future episode of TWIST Conversations, please let me know.
