Learning and the Organizational Ecosystem

Our next #GuildChat takes place Friday, August 14 at 11am PT / 2pm ET. Our topic for this week’s chat is Learning and the Organizational Ecosystem.

In the past, organizational learning meant training, classrooms and courses.  Today however the idea has expanded to include learning in and through our work as well as learning with others. Technology has broken down barriers that once separated people and the work happening across the organization allowing the learning function to impact a far greater area and in different ways than ever before.2015-01-09_11-14-16

Although this capability has been enabled, many in L&D are struggling to understand this performance ecosystem and how best to engage it and in capacities that are foreign to their traditional work in organizations. In this #Guildchat we explore the performance ecosystem concept, it’s needs and the role of L&D can play to enable continuous learning.
