#GuildChat for 06/19/15: How Blogs Can Be Used for Learning
Our next #GuildChat takes place Friday, June 19th at 11am PT / 2pm ET. Our topic for this week’s chat is How Blogs Can Be Used for Learning.
One of the earliest Web 2.0 incarnations was the Weblog, better know today as a Blog. With the advent of numerous other rapid communication technologies today such as micro-blogging, wikis, and live streaming, Blogging remains a strong presence in the virtual space. The questions for the learning community are, how do and can blogs support learning and performance?
In this weeks chat we’ll bypass the technical aspects of features, functions and platform choices and explore the role of blogs and blogging in individual and organizational learning. Join us to dig deeper into what blogging is and can be used for as well as what makes a blog so valuable to bloggers and readers alike. Prepare to share your personal examples and opinions on what works and what doesn’t with this “traditional” communication medium.

2:51 PM | Paula_Moran | @JaneBozarth I’ll be honest, I often don’t make it past the 1st page unless the writing/topic is extremely compelling #guildchat |
2:51 PM | JaneBozarth | RT @LnDDave: A5) Micro-blogging is about the NOW. Blogs serve a different, most reflective and contextual purpose. #GuildChat |
