TWIST Conversations: Scott Edwards on Innovative Video Learning
Welcome to TWIST Conversations, where we chat with members of the Guild Community exploring current trends in learning, performance, and technology.
In this episode of TWIST Conversations I chat with Brian Savoie, Product Manager at IBM. We discuss the growing use of video for learning, and how innovations from IBM are making video learning more interactive and collaborative. Here are a few highlights from our conversation:
The accessibility of {video] is much more than it was before, and it’s not something that is just focused on learning; our entire lives are focused more on video.
Video viewing in the past has been a passive experience … Video is becoming a social and collaborative experience.
We can analyse the video and apply metadata to what the subject is in the video … to classify it.
