TWIST Conversations: Sarah Gilbert on the Importance of Mobile in Learning

Welcome to TWIST Conversations, where we chat with members of the Guild Community exploring current trends in learning, performance, and technology.

CaptureIn this episode of TWIST Conversations I chat with Sarah Gilbert, Director of the PHII Academy. We discuss the importance of mobile technologies in learning,  including how organizations are already leveraging mobile technologies for learning, what mlearning really is, and how you can get started with mobile. Here are a few highlights from our conversation:

Most organizations are doing mobile and they don’t realize it.

When you look at getting started with mobile learning you have to really start with identifying a need, and then identifying ways to design appropriately for the mobile format.

What’s different in the way we do things now from how we need to do things differently for mobile?
