#GuildChat Preview: Tracking and Measurement of Learning and Performance
Join us for #GuildChat Friday October 3rd at 11am PT / 2pm ET. The chat topic for this week is Tracking/Measuring Learning and Performance.
Measuring the effectiveness of learning programs has been a topic of interest in our industry for decades. At the same time, the conversation has not evolved greatly from where it was decades earlier. In this week’s GuildChat, we explore why our industry struggles with this idea of measurement, and we ponder if the time is finally right for us to make a change in this area.
Here are the questions currently scheduled to be posed during the chat:
- What types of data do you collect to measure learning and performance?
- What types of data would you like to be collecting to measure learning and performance?
- What processes and/or technologies are you currently using to measure learning and performance?
- What would you do if data conflicts with your gut feelings on something? Why?
- Why do you think L&D struggles to measure performance?
- What resources do you use to educate yourself on data, analytics, and measurement?
