TWIST Conversations: The Importance of Mobile in Learning and Performance

Welcome to TWIST Conversations, where we chat with a member of the Guild Community exploring current trends in learning, performance, and technology.

CaptureIn this episode of TWIST Conversations we explore a common criticism of mlearning: That it is not effective and that people can not learn via a mobile device. I’m joined in this conversation by three members of the mLearnCon Conference and Expo Advisory Group: Robert Gadd, Clark Quinn, and Chad Udell. We talk about why mobile is so important to the future of learning and performance. We explore the misconception of mlearning as “elearning on a mobile device”. We talk about how using mobile technologies for learning and performance is a completely different environment than desktop, and therefore should be defined by the unique experiences made possible by these technologies.

I highly recommend taking some time to listen to these industry experts explain why mobile technologies are a critical part of the learning and performance conversation.
